2. FRED ALLEY- I Know Where I’m Going
A timeless rendition by Door County’s legendary singer, playwright, and theatre producer. Recorded in 1995 and previously released only on cassette, this version offers new lyrics to an alltime classic.

3. CHRIS ALLEY- Nightingale
A self-taught singer and guitarist who relocated to Door County from Madison over ten years ago in search of a more nurturing folk music scene. Alley, a self-proclaimed "musical chameleon," easily blends with the varied musicians he has recorded and performed with over the years. With a compelling vocal style that bounces comfortably from gravelly to sweet, Alley performs a wide variety of tunes – many original compositions – and has released a solo recording entitled Sundial.

4. JEANNE KUHNS- Isabel
Jeanne Kuhns is a folk/blues singer, songwriter, and a passionate performer who conveys to her audiences her love of life, women's issues and nature. She sings about the experiences that have shaped her life with sensitivity and honesty.

She has been influenced by folk, blues and rock and these threads have been woven into her music. She carries her poetic lyrics to you with a voice that has a private, intimate quality, full and deep yet capable of sliding into a clear high falsetto..

She performed at "A Womens Song" at Third Avenue Playhouse in Sturgeon Bay, Wi., in the good company of Karen Mal, Dorothy Scott and Kathy Braaten. She then participated in Jan La Fontaine's "Out of the Shadows" project and book "Women in Shadow and Light".

Her new cd Lost Moth : Found recorded and produced by Hans Christian of Allemande Music in Sister Bay ,Wi. was partially funded by Penninsula Arts Association and Wisconsin Arts board. She has some of the best of Door County's musicians playing with her.

5. MARK RADDATZ- Thought Passing Through
Most often found in the kitchen at D'Amico's in Sister Bay, but when he finds the time to do what he really loves, you'll find him performing either alone or with the countless other local musicians. Many of Raddatz's self-penned tunes are topical in nature, and he definitely uses his art to express a viewpoint. Heavily influenced by Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie and the entire stream of "flokies with conscience," Mark Raddatz has found a niche within the Door County music world that is very much his own.

6. PETE THELEN- Footsteps
Songwriter and producer of all the Blues Today cds. Pete has lived in Chicago - Illinois, Phoenix - Arizona and recently Door County - Wisconsin. When Pete was released from the army he began his musical journey as lead singer for the R&B band Hearafter, which toured the midwest for several years. He has also worked with other bands such as The Blues Dinosaurs as well as recording in studios.
Songwriting has always been one of Pete's major interests. He is especially proud of "Welcome Home", a song he dedicated to the Vietnam Vets and was performed in the Welcome Home Parade in Chicago of 1985. Pete's eclectic and narrative song writing style has been performed by over ten groups in live performances and recordings.
